1. Think in 10x, Not 2x
2x thinking is linear: it asks how to do more of what already works. 10x thinking forces you to question the current path entirely. Because we cannot simply multiply our time and effort, a 10x goal pushes us toward fundamentally better strategies, higher standards, and nonlinear solutions.
2. Focus on the Critical 20%
80% of the results often come from 20% of the effort. 10x growth comes from doing fewer things exceptionally well, not from doing more things reasonably well. A clear and ambitious goal acts as a filter: focus your attention on the small number of activities where you create unique value, and delegate or eliminate the rest.
3. Let the Goal Transform Who You Are
A 10x goal is not only about achieving a larger outcome; it changes your identity, capabilities, and standards along the way. Commit first, have the courage to enter unfamiliar territory, learn through repeated iteration, and gradually become the person capable of operating at that higher level.
Once 10x becomes the goal, your strategies also become clearer:
3.1 Hire others to handle the 80%. Protect your time and attention for the work where you create the most value.
3.2 Be a buyer, not a seller. Know clearly what you want and what your standards are. Only accept and pursue opportunities that align with your critical 20%.
3.3 Relax to produce better 20% results. Rest and recovery are not separate from high performance. They help you bring more energy, clarity, and creativity to the work that matters most.
